BMW 2000 Touring - Fjord Bluemi'c (AUTOart) 1/18
EASY ORDER INFO HERE BMW launched the 2000 Tii Touring in 1971, one of the world's first hatchback cars.
Designed by Michelotti, the hatchback body featured fold down rear seats for extra luggage space.
It was the last version of BMW 2002 body with rear round taillights.
Fitted with German-designed Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection, the first BMW fuel-injected SOHC engine, the 1991 c.c. displacement and the compression ratio of 10.0:1 produced 131 bhp capable of a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h).
Standard 4-speed manual gearbox or an optional ZF 3-speed automatic transmission was being offered for the first time.
A total of 5,783 units have been built during the production.
