Toyota FJ Cruiser - Voodoo Blue (AUTOart) 1/18
EASY ORDER INFO HERE The letters FJ have been spoken with reverence by off-road drivers since Toyota introduced its first FJ40 Land Cruiser in 1960. Until 1965, it was Toyota's best selling vehicle in America. The last FJ40 left the factory in 1983, but recently Toyota decided to revive the two-letter moniker on a radical square-shouldered sports utility vehicle (SUV) aimed at the young and active market. The 2007 FJ Cruiser shares its 245-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6, suspension, ladder-type full frame, and four-wheel-drive system with the Toyota Prado SUV and its siblings, the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Designed at Toyota's CALTY California design studio and built in Japan, the FJ Cruiser has an all-steel body that opens with two full-sized doors, two rear-hinged clamshell doors for easier access to the back seat, and a side-hinged tailgate. With a lockable rear differential, ground clearance of 9.6 inches, and the capability of fording creeks up to 28 inches deep, the FJ Cruiser is intended for serious bush whacking.
