1968 Chevy Chevelle SS396 - Ash Gold (Ertl) 1/18
EASY ORDER INFO HERE With a sticker price around $3,700 and all-new sleek styling in '68, the Chevelle outsold every other high performance muscle car in the late 60s. The base 396 Turbo-Jet V-8 boasted 325 hp. Another $105 bought the L34 engine with 350 hp. The ultimate power plant option was the L78 that included solid lifters, big-port heads, Holley four-barrell carbs and a low-rise aluminum manifold - all for an additional $237. The Chevelle truly was a muscle car for the masses with 62,785 SS396 models sold in 1968!
