The truck is a BX series which was built from 1927-1941 and can be identified by the louvers or doors on the side of the hood. It was a Type 75 which reflected the size motor that was 110 horsepower.
It had a pump manufactured by Hale Pumps and had a 750 gallon per minute capacity. The pumper was in first line service at the Hanover Fire Company no 1 from 1935 to 1966 and then transferred to the Clearview Fire Station no 3 and remained in service to 1970. Then put into reserve stasis to 1976 and was also fire protection at the borough landfill. In 1976 it returned to the Clearview Fire Station from to 1978. Then sold to a private collector. It remains there today in the original good running condition it was at purchase. This is a true testimonial of the strength of the Mack Fire Pumper that served the Hanover Borough Fire Department for 43 years.
