1958 Plymouth Fury - Black (MotorMax) 1/18
EASY ORDER INFO HERE Please note: The antennas on this model require careful bending into position. They are not broken.
The 1958 Fury was Plymouth's factory hot rod of its day. The optional 350 cubic inch engine produced 305 hp when fitted with its dual four-barrel carburetors. Even though the car weighed almost 4,000 pounds, it was considered one of the best cornering cars of its time. The new dual headlights and large rear fins gave the Fury its distinctive look. However, the Fury's true claim to fame was when it was featured in the 1983 Columbia Pictures film "Christine" about a possessed automobile, written by Steven King. Specs: Engine: Either 318 ci or 350 ci, both with dual four-barrell carburetors. Power: The 350 ci "Golden Commando" engine with two Carter AFB four-barrel carburetors was rated at 305 hp at 5,000 RPM and 370 lbs of torque at 3,600 RPM. Acceleration: 0-60 MPH in 7.7 seconds. Top speed of 115 MPH. Platform: Two door pillarless hardtop with 118" wheelbase. Factory Price: $3,032.00 Production Total: 5,303 Units MotorMax Diecast Model No. 73115
