1967 Olds Cutlass 4-4-2 W-30 - Gold Metallic (Highway 61) 1/18
![]() EASY ORDER INFO HERE ![]() In '67, the luxury version of the intermediate Oldsmobile F-85, the Cutlass, attained series status of its own and began the climb to one of the most popular nameplates for a U.S. car ever. This success was in part due to the high performance 4-4-2 version of the 1967 Cutlass Supreme
The 4-4-2 first made its debut in 1964 to compete with the hot-selling new Pontiac GTO. By 1967, the 4-4-2 had achieved true muscle car status with a 440-ft.lb. torque, 350hp, 400 cubic inch V-8 engine with a 10.5 compression ratio, and hydraulic lifters. The W-30 version included a Force-Air system which fed the infamous Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor through small scoops between the headlights. These attached to the air cleaner via large flexible tubes. Only 502 of the W-30 cars were factory built, but "Track-Pac" conversions were available from Oldsmobile dealerships which duplicated W-30 performance. Only the factory-built cars featured the trademark W-30 red inner fenders. Highway 61 Diecast No. 50107 |
